Gajar Ko Ghar Mein Ugane Ki Kya Zaroorat Hai?
Gajar (Carrot) sirf ek sabzi hi nahin hai. Gajar ki madad se
mukhtalif iqsam ki dishes banai jati hain. Aap gajar ka saalan bana sakte hain,
gajar ka halwa bana sakte hain, gajar ka murabba bana sakte hain aur gajar ko
salad mein bhi istemal kar sakte hain.
Agar aap ko baghbani ka shoq hai ya aap apni sabziyan khud
ugana chahte hain to aap ko yeh jaan kar khushi ho gi keh gajar ko ghar mein
ugana zyada mushkil nahin hai.
Ghar mein gajar ugana na sirf ek sehat mand sargrami
(activity) hai balkay is se aap ko taza aur chemical-free sabziyan bhi khane ka
mauqa milta hai.

kar November tak rehta hai.

Gajar Ugane Ke Liye Mitti Ko Tayar Karna
Gajar ugane ke liye aisi mitti achi hoti hai jo naram ho,
bhur-bhuri ho aur achi tarah se hawa-daar ho. Gajar ugane ke liye sakht ya
chikni mitti theek nahin rehti. Aisi mitti mein gajar theek se growth nahin kar
pati. Gajar ka beej bone se pehle mitti ko achi tarah se tayar kar len. Mitti
ko tayar karne ke liye in steps ko follow karen:
1. Mitti Ko Naram Karna
Gajar ugane se pehle zameen ko 12 se 15 inch gehrai tak kassi
ya belche (shovel) ki madad se khod khod kar naram kar len.
2. Khaad Ka Istemal
Mitti mein gobar ki khaad (compost) achi tarah se mix kar len.
Is se mitti ki zarkhezi barhti hai aur gajar ko zaroori ghizai ajza bhi milte
hain. Mitti mein gobar ki khaad shamil karne se mitti naram bhi ho jati hai.
3. Mitti Ko Saaf Karna
Mitti ko achi tarah se saaf karen aur is mein se tamaam
pathar aur ghaas-phoos waghera ko nikaal den. Is se yeh faida hota hai keh gajar
ki jarr ko barhne mein koi rukawat nahin hoti.
Note: Kiyari ko baad mein bhi zyada se zyada saaf rakhne ki
koshish karni hai.
Mitti Mein Gajar Ka Beej Bona
Mitti ko tayar karne ke baad, agla kaam hota hai is mitti
mein gajar ke beej bona. Gajar ke beej chote chote hote hain. In ko theek se
bona bohot zaroori hota hai. Gajar ke beej ko neeche bataye hue tareeqe ke
mutabiq bona hai.
1. Mitti Mein Qataarein Banana
Sab se pehle zameen par choti choti qataarein (rows) bana len.
In qataaron ke darmiyan 12 se 15 inch tak ka fasla hona chahiye.
2. Qataaron Mein Beej Bona
Har qataar mein gajar ke beej ko mitti mein sirf aadha inch (half
inch) gehra bona hai. Beejon ko bilkul qareeb qareeb nahin bona. Kyun keh aisa
karne se jab in beejon se poday nikal ayen ge to un ke darmiyan fasla bohat kam
ho ga jis se podon ki growth achi nahin ho gi.
3. Beej Bone Ke Baad Pani Dena
Beej bone ke baad un par halke hath se mitti daal den aur is
mitti ke oper halka halka pani ka chhirkao kar den. Pehle do hafton tak mitti
ko har waqt nam rakhna hai.
Gajar Ke Podon Ki Zaroori Dekh-Bhaal
Gajar ke podon ki sahi dekh-bhaal behtar pedawar ke liye
bohot ahm hoti hai.
1. Gajar Ke Podon Ko Patla Karna (Thinning)
Jab gajar ke podon ki lambai 2 se 3 inch tak ho jaye to un ko
patla karna hota hai. Is ka matlab yeh hai keh poday zyada qareeb qareeb hote
hain aur un ke darmiyan 2 se 3 inch tak ka fasla banana hota hai. Aisa karne se
baqi podon ko achi growth karne ke liye sahi jagah aur ghiza milti hai.
2. Gajar Ke Podon Ko Pani Kitna Dena Hota Hai?
Gajar ke podon ko mutawazan pani ki zaroorat hoti hai. Matlab
na to zyada pani dena hai aur na hi kam pani dena hai. Zyada pani dene se gajar
zameen mein gal-sar sakti hai aur kam pani dene se gajar ki growth achi nahin
hoti.
Is ka hal yeh hai keh mitti ko hamesha nam rakhen lekin usay
bohot zyada geela nahin karna.
3. Fazool Ghaas-Phoos Aur Jari-Booti
Gajar ke podon ke ird-gird ugne wali ghaas-phoos ko foran nikaal
dena hai. Mitti ko zyada se zyada saaf rakhna hai. Kiyari mein kisi tarah ki
jari-booti ko nahin ugne dena.
4. Gajar Ke Podon Ko Khaad Dena
Agar zaroorat ho to jab poday thore barh jayen to aap un ko liquid khaad jaise keh “Compost Tea” ya “Mustard Cake Liquid” de sakte hain.
Gajar Ki Fasal Kitne Dinon Ke Baad Tayar Ho Jati Hai?
Gajar ki fasal aam tor par beej bone ke 60 se 80 dinon ke
baad tayar ho jati hai. Beej ki quality aur ilaqe ke mosam ki wajah se kuch din
kam ya zyada bhi ho skate hain. Aap 60 se 80 din mukammal karne ke baad kisi ek
gajar ko mitti se nikaal kar check kar sakte hain.
Gajar Ko Mitti Se Nikaalne Ka Tarika
Gajar ko mitti se nikaalte waqt, mitti ko halka sa geela kar len. Phir gajar ke patton ko pakar kar ahista se khenchen. Agar gajar aasani se na nikle to kisi chote khurpe ya kassi se mitti ko naram karne ke baad nikaalen.
Note: Gajar ko gamle mein bhi ugaya ja sakta hai lekin gamla
gehra hona chahiye kam se kam 15 inch tak gehra.
