Ghar Par Podina Ugane Ka Tarika
Podine ko English mein “Mint” kaha jata hai. Yeh ek khushbu-daar
aur zaiqe-daar jari-booti (herb) ka naam hai. Podine ko mukhtalif khanon mein, mashroo-baat
(drinks) mein aur chatniyon mein istemal kiya jata hai.
Podine ko ghar mein ugana na sirf bohat hi aasan hai balkeh yeh
bohat faida-mand bhi hai. Kyun keh aap jab chahen taza podina istemal kar sakte

Podina Ugane Ke Liye Zaroori Cheezein
Podina ugane ke liye aap ko 3 bunyadi cheezon ki zaroorat ho gi.
1. Ek Chhota Ghamla
Podina ugane ke liye zyada jagah ki zaroorat nahin hoti. Is ke
liye ek chhota sa ghamla ya ghamle jesa koi purana bartan hi kafi hota hai.
2. Mitti
Podina ugane ke liye aisi mitti behtar hoti hai jo narm ho
aur jis mein se pani aasani se nikal sake. Aap is ke liye koi bhi saaf mitti istemal
kar sakte hain.
3. Podine Ki Daaliyan (Cuttings)
Urdu mein “Daali” shaakh ko kehte hain. Podina ugane ke liye
yeh sab se ahm cheez hai. Aap bazar se khareede hue podine ki daaliyaan ya kisi
doosre podine ke poday se kuch daaliyaan le sakte hain. Har daali par kam se
kam 3 se 4 pattay (leaves) honay chahiye. Is ko, aam alfaz mein, podine ki “Qalam”
bhi kaha jata hai.
Podina Ugane Ke Tareeqe
Podina ugane ke liye 2 tareeqe istemal kiye jate hain:
- Pani Mein Podina Ugana (Water Propagation)
- Mitti Mein Podina Lagana
1. Pani Mein Podina Ugane Ka Tarika
Yeh sab se aasan tarika hai. Yeh un logon ke liye behtar hai jo
pehli baar podina laga rahe hain.
Podine ki kuch daaliyan len aur un ke neeche ke pattay utar
den. Ek glass ya bottle mein pani bhar kar in daaliyon ko us mein rakh den. Glass
ko aisi jagah par rakhen jahan seedhi dhoop na parti ho.
Har 2 se 3 dinon ke baad pani badal den. 10 se 15 dinon mein
aap dekhen gay keh daaliyon se choti choti jarein (roots) nikalna shuru ho gayi
hain.
Jab jarein 1 se 2 inch lambi ho jayen to in daaliyon ko mitti
mein laga den.
2. Seedha Mitti Mein Podina Lagana
Yeh tarika bhi bohot aasan hai aur is mein podina jald hi
barhna shuru ho jata hai. Podina ugane ke liye zyada tar yehi tarika istemal
kiya jata hai.
Ghamle ko mitti se bhar den. Podine ki daaliyan len. In
daaliyon ke neeche ke pattay utar den. Is ke baad in daaliyon ko mitti mein 2
se 3 inch tak gaarh (bury) den. Is ko podine ki qalam lagana kaha jata hai.
In daaliyon ke darmiyan thora thora fasla (gap) rakhen. Is se
har poda behtar tarike se barh sake ga. Mitti ko achi tarah pani den.
Podine Ki Zaroori Dekh-Bhaal
Podine ka poday bohot jald barhte hain aur in ki dekh bhaal karna
mushkil nahin hota.
1. Pani
Podine ko rozana pani ki zaroorat hoti hai. Jab bhi mitti thori
sookhne lage to foran pani den. Lekin zyada pani bhi nahin dena kyun keh is se jarein
gal sakti hain.
2. Dhoop
Podine ko roshni pasand hoti hai. Lekin bohot tez dhoop is ke
liye achhi nahin hoti. Zyada dhoop mein podina murjha jata hai. Aisi jagah
jahan din mein 3 se 4 ghante ki dhoop parti ho woh is ke liye behtareen hai.
3. Khaad
Podina ko khaad ki zaroorat nahin hoti. Lekin agar aap
chahein to har mahine ya do mahine baad thori si gobar ki khaad de sakte hain.
Podine Ko Kab Istemal Kiya Ja Sakta Hai?
Podina jab barhne lage to is ki oper se katai karna shuru kar
den. Is se podine ka poda zyada ghana (bushy) hota hai aur nayi daaliyan nikal
aati hain.
Podina Ugane Ke Mutaliq Zaroori Maloomat
- Podina ugane ke liye sab se achha waqt February se March ke darmiyan hota hai. Yeh mosam podine ki growth ke liye sab se behtareen hai.
- Lekin, podina saal ke kisi bhi hisse mein lagaya ja sakta hai. Is ko sirf zyada dhoop aur garmi se bachana hota hai. Agar aap garmiyon mein podina laga rahe hain to isay aisi jagah rakhen jahan subah ki dhoop mile aur dopehar ki sakht dhoop se bachao mumkin ho.
- Podine ko pani bohat pasand hota hai. Is liye is ki mitti (soil) ko hamesha thora geela rakhen. Is se podine hara-bhara rahe ga.
